WELCOME TO GEEBUNG ZILLMERE RSL SOCIAL POOL CLUB The Social pool Club is one of the sporting clubs of Geebung Zillmere RSL Club. We have regular Social pool on Thursday nights and have many social trips away to other venues throughout the year.
We offer facilities that cater for the whole family and access to City 8 Ball fixtures competitions. We endevour to organise family days to local attractions and parks for our members. Through all these activities we try to live up to our motto of "promoting the game of pool" |

Pittsworth Trip 2012 March 24 to 25thBus leaves club at 8:30 am sharp Saturday 24/3/12 and returns Sunday afternoon 25/3/12. Members and spouses/partners $70 per head. There will be NO non members. Sports Club raffle sellers $10 Trip includes shirt, bus travel, refreshments on the bus to and from Pittsworth. Accomodation, Dinner and a hot breakfast Sunday morning. Plus there will be plenty of pool. So come and help beat Tattersalls Pub at Pittsworth and bring the shield home to the Bungers. Monies to be paid to Arlene T before putting name on sheet at the club |

Juniors Coaching 2012 Dear Parentsand Guardians My name is Shannon Purcell and I am the Head Coach of the Geebung RSL Junior 8Ball Club. I have been coaching the juniors for several years and I am a Level 1 8Ball coach. This letter is to briefly outline my coaching philosophy: The number one priority of our program is to provide a safe and controlled environment for the children at all times. My coaching program will emphasise on skill development, fun, working cooperatively and good sportsmanship. We try to create an atmosphere where the children can form friendships, develop a feeling of belonging, confidently build self esteem and learn to share experiences which are all aspects I believe are important to children. I use a maximum participation approach. All children are to receive equal opportunity regardless of ability or skill level. We train each Sunday morning from 10.00 to 12.00 and all parents are more than welcome to attend all training sessions and social events.
